Welcome to Sedimentologika, a community-driven Diamond Open Access scientific journal dedicated to advancing the field of sedimentology. We publish scientific research across the broad fields of sedimentology, stratigraphy, and related fields. Read more about our scope here.

Guided by Open Science principles, Sedimentologika aims to promote the ethical dissemination of science and knowledge by fostering an inclusive environment for authors and readers from diverse backgrounds and perspectives for the collective benefit of all – from citizens to institutions – without borders or barriers. We are part of the broader Diamond Open Access movement in geosciences. 

As a Diamond Open Access journal, our content is freely available to read and share, and the journal is free to publish in. All Sedimentologika articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC-BY).
