About the Journal

OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE

Education in debate: comparative analysis is an international scientific journal published in an electronic format. Founded in 2003, it was one of the first electronic journals on education in the Francophone area.

The journal publishes academic work in French or English from several disciplines directly related to education. Its main objective is to provide researchers with an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange and dissemination of educational research, encouraging critical and comparative reflection.

Among the topics related to international and comparative education, Education in debate: comparative analysis addresses:

  • International cooperation in education
  • Globalisation and education
  • International reforms
  • Regional issues (Europe, Africa, Latin America)

Each issue of the journal is thematic, addressing a specific topic validated by the scientific committee. Papers outside the thematic issue can also be submitted to the journal.
