How would we fit two meter of a thread do it into a 0.006mm space? Would it be easy to find along this thread important pieces that should interact? Those are the approximate measures of the human DNA and its enclosing nucleus, and the answer to the questions above have direct implications on how to activate genes at the right time and place.
